Billing troubleshooting

Resolve Checkout, Billing Portal, payment failed and stale plan states.

Plan did not update after Checkout

Wait a few seconds. Polaris syncs subscription and limits after returning from Stripe. If the banner remains, select Refresh status or reload Billing.

Payment failed

If payment fails, Polaris may show past_due, unpaid, incomplete or incomplete_expired.

  • past_due: grace period, access continues temporarily.
  • unpaid or canceled: paid features are restricted.
  • incomplete: checkout did not complete.

Billing Portal

Use Billing Portal to update payment method, cancel or manage subscription. After returning, Billing refetches subscription and limits.
